CATTLE
The primary tool we use to manage pasture and improve our soil. Rotating the herd to fresh pasture each day, we convert forage to the highest quality beef. No grain, just grass (and the occasional wild apple that falls!)
SHEEP
The ultimate complement to cattle in a grazing system, eating a diversity of forages that cattle may pass by. Ewes nurse their young into nutrient dense lamb for your table. No grain, just grass (and plenty of weeds!)
PIGS
Creatures of both woodland and pasture, our pigs enjoy a pig’s life as it should be. In addition to wild forages our pigs convert high quality recycled feeds (primarily dairy) into nutritious, delicious, sustainable meat.
POULTRY
Poultry is a natural fit in our holistic system. Meat chickens, laying hens (eggs), ducks, geese, and turkeys rotate through our pastures foraging plants and insects, turning nature’s provisions into premium protein.

WHERE ARE WE?
Whittengale is located about 4 miles off I-89 exit 6 at the convergence of Upper and Lower Usle Roads in Barre. Lower Usle Road is the first left off Miller Road which crosses VT-63 two miles East of I-89.
